Odyssey Campaign | Episode 18.2 The Magic of the North

Last episode ended as  Victus sounded the alarm while infiltrating the orc controlled Halfton. The party rushed in to help slay the remaining Orcs and save the prisoners. Once the fight had ceased they learned of an Orc Clan posted nearby. They rested for a night while Atlas teleported the survivors back to Porta Nova and then packed up camp and set off towards the Orcs. What waits for them in the Orc camp? Moving beyond the disaster at Anguith the group discovers that Halfton has been overrun by an Orc clan who has captured the populace and forced them into slavery. Some in the party feel that they are not required to assist in this situation and should simply alert superiors however Victus ventures into the town and begins an infiltration. Last week on The Odyssey campaign; The group managed to overcome the mechanical guardians protecting the ancient ruins while also powering down the magnetic field producing machine. Venturing deeper they finally reveal the tree of life blossoming in a deserted subterranean ruin surround by a horde of treasure. Freeing Henry from his time curse, they gathered the sap from the tree of life and departed back for Porta Nova. What story lies in Porta Nova for them now? Previously on the Odyssey Campaign. The party encountered an individual named Henry inside a local watering hole in Porta Nova. Henry regaled them with a story detailing a tree of life he had been researching and attempting to discover. Ambushed by an assassin during their conversation the group decides to provide support for Henry in return for a bit of sap from the Tree of Life, an ingredient needed to resurrect Morgrim. They travel to a historic religious site and delve deep into the ruins below. Will Henry be cured of his time based curse? Will Whistler ever truly be accepted into the group? Having returned to the shores of Porta Nova the party busied themselves within the markets, refilling supplies and selling wares that they had no use for. Returning to the new Inn that Taza had purchased they were greeted by a grizzly messaged scrawled in blood. A murderous serial killer and his posse attempted to take down the group but to no avail. Having frozen and shattered the opposition a high town mage steps from the shadows and greets the group. Should the group fear this mage? Will Havoc find his lost brother?
